Radial power supply is adopted, which is led out from the snowmelt heating cable distribution box and laid along the cable bridge inside the outer wall of the lane to each heating cable.
The control mode is automatic and manual. In the automatic mode, PLC is used as the main control unit. The intelligent temperature inspection instrument transmits the surface temperature of the lane to the PLC. At the same time, the snowfall and rainfall detector transmits the snowfall or rainfall information to PLC. PLC compares the above information with the set temperature, and puts in or cuts off the number and time of heating cable according to the set program.The heating cable can also be manually put in and cut off. The intelligent temperature inspection instrument is installed on the distribution box to display the temperature of each temperature measuring point in real time. When the temperature exceeds the limit, the sound and light alarm will be given and the operation of the heating cable will be stopped.

Grounding

The grounding wire, metal protective layer, threading steel pipe, cable bridge and metal shell of distribution box of all heating cables shall be reliably grounded (PE).
